Food vendor arrested in Talisay drug bust

A FOOD vendor was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok Santan, Barangay Zone 4, Talisay City on August 9, 2020.

The suspect was identified as Richard Zarahoza alias “Richard Palma, 42 years old and a resident of the said place.

Elements of Talisay City Police Station led by Police Captain Julius Caesar Colado conducted the buy-bust operation, which resulted in the arrest of the suspect.

Seized from the possession and control of the suspect were eight sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P23,800.

The marking and inventory of property seized were done in the said place in the presence of the suspect and barangay officials led Captain Remu Persia and a member of the media.

All items recovered will be brought to the Philippine National Police Provincial Crime Laboratory Office at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr., Bacolod City and will be subjected for examination.
