NEGROS Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. said on Monday, February 11, he will investigate the complaints pertaining to the use of the Capitol Park and Lagoon in Bacolod City.

This came after a complaint was received from a group of students who were having their dance rehearsals at the premise were told by a guard that such activity is not allowed inside the park.

The governor said he is considering adjusting the closing time of the park to accommodate joggers who are at the park in the afternoon until the evening.

Marañon explained there were inappropriate acts done inside the park such as destroying the plants and that these people should be called by the guards.

Doing some immoral activities especially during night time is not also allowed inside the lagoon park, he said.

The governor said he will review and investigate the matter. (TDE)
