HVI yields almost half a million pesos 'shabu'

NEARLY half a million pesos worth of suspected shabu were seized by the authorities during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bata, Bacolod City past 7 p.m. Saturday, July 2.

The operation also led to the arrest of drug suspect Ereneo Pranisa, alias “May-May’, 34, of Purok Mahigugmaon in the city’s Barangay Tangub, the police said.

Reports from the Bacolod City Police Office showed that Pranisa was arrested at the Rose Lawn Memorial Park.

Confiscated from Pranisa were four sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 60 grams valued P408,000, police records showed.

Pranisa, a high value individual, is now detained at the lock-up cell of police station 5 while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Dangerous Acts of 2022).
