Man nabbed for ‘stealing’ motorcycle

A MAN was arrested for allegedly stealing a motorcycle in front of a bakery in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental Friday morning, December 14.

Police records showed that the owner, Ronnel Farofil, 32, of Barangay Oringao, discovered that the motorcycle parked at the said area was missing at 5 a.m.

When he searched for it, he saw a man allegedly trying to start the motorcycle from a distance.

It prompted him to call for police assistance.

Police arrested the suspect identified as Nilo Lopez, 20, of Cauayan town, who was positively identified by the victim.

Police recovered a knife from the suspect.
