A MAN was shot to death by three unidentified men on a motorcycle in Barangay Montevista, Bacolod City, on Wednesday, May 16.

Killed was Jonathan Dato-on, 25, of the said village.

Chief Inspector Ritchie Gohee, head of Police Station 4, said Dato-on came from a basketball court when the assailants followed him on his way home around 5:45 p.m.

The victim managed to run and reached their house but one of the assailants fired at him several times, then fled.

The victim succumbed to multiple wounds.

Gohee said they are eyeing revenge behind Dato-on's death after learning that his group was allegedly involved in a hacking incident in Barangay 20 a few months ago.

Police have yet to identify the perpetrators.
