Man shot to death in Escalante City

A MAN was shot to death by an unidentified man at Barangay Mabini in Escalante City, Negros Occidental Thursday, September 20.

Killed was Raul Mayagma, 43, of the said village.

The victim succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds, police records showed.

The assailant fled with the weapon he used in the crime.

Police recovered from the scene 12 fired cartridges of .45 caliber pistol.

Police eyed grudge as the motive.

They have now lead on the identity of the perpetrator but refused to reveal his name yet as the follow-up operation is ongoing.
