Negros Occidental governor reaffirms trust on BAC

GOVERNOR Eugenio Jose Lacson reaffirmed his trust and confidence to members of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) amid some controversies.

"Definitely I trust the people I have assigned with BAC. There's nothing wrong with the bidding," Lacson said.

Lacson explained he wonders why the issue only came out now about the winning of Dynamic Builders, Inc. of the P400-million land development project of the Provincial Government for its housing project for Capitol employees in Barangay Mansilingan.

Lacson said Dynamic Builders has always been a very active bidder and winner of government projects.

“Before I took over, there were already a number of projects that were actually won by Dynamics. I don't know why the issue is coming out now,” Lacson pointed out.

Dynamic Builders in the previous administration have won major Capitol projects, including the construction of the P900-million new Provincial Administration Center (PAC) Building, the rental for Capitol property, and the construction of a mixed-use PAC Building after the company presented an unsolicited proposal for the project.
