NEGROS Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson is expected to lay down his plans, programs and projects for the next three years during his inauguration on Saturday, June 25.

This was announced Wednesday, June 22, by Provincial Administrator lawyer Rayfrando Diaz II as he leads the preparation of every department for the next three years of Lacson’s administration.

Aside from Lacson, Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer and other members of the Provincial Board who won in the May 9, 2022 elections will have their inauguration and oathtaking at the Provincial Capitol Building in Bacolod City on Saturday.

The governor said he has not invited any national officials during the event.

His oath of office will be administered by San Carlos City Regional Trial Court Branch 58 Presiding Judge Amy Alabado Avellano.

Meanwhile, Diaz said that they are now preparing the three-year investment plan of the province.

The provincial administrator said tangible, doable and concrete targets are expected from the department heads for 2022 to 2025.

Lacson’s next term will be centered on food security, water security, infrastructure and health, he added.
