THE Provincial Government may start releasing extra bonus for the Capitol employees on December 20.

Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said December 10 that the Capitol's Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (Praise) has already passed two resolutions in a meeting Tuesday, December 10.

Diaz said that based on the guidelines, Capitol employees are granted an Incentive for Exemplary Services (IES).

Those qualified to avail themselvees of IES are those employed for at least four months as of October 31 and has rendered "satisfactory service."

Diaz also said that for those who have retired, they can also avail themselves "at a pro-rated rate."

For those who have rendered less than four months, he said they can avail themselves of 40 percent of the amount to be approved by Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson.

Another resolution the Praise Committee approved is the granting of a Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) based on a memorandum signed by President Rodrigo Duterte last November.

The amount, which will still be approved by the Provincial Board, will be a maximum of P10,000 for each employee, Diaz added.

As to the total amount of extra bonus, Diaz said he will give that right to the governor.

"We are seeing that the extra bonus will be released by December 20," he said.

By Friday, December 13, Diaz said Provincial Budget Officer Jose Percival Salado will submit a maximum budget he can allocate and will be submitted to the governor.

As to the Collective Negotiation Agreement signing bonus requested by the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees, there are specific accounts where savings can be allotted from and those account are "now depleted," per advise of the budget officer, Diaz added.
