New PRO-6 chief assumes post

POLICE Brigadier General Rene Pamuspusan assumed his post as the new Western Visayas police director Thursday, June 27, 2019.

He succeeded Police Brigadier General John Bulalacao, who retired from the police service Thursday.

Pamuspusan belonged to Maringal Class 1988 of the Philippine Military Academy.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Joem Malong, Police Regional Office-6 spokesperson, said that effective June 27, PRO-6 Brig. Gen. Jesus Cambay Jr., deputy PRO 6 director for administration, was also assigned as the new director of the Philippine National Police Headquarters Support Service.

She said that PRO-6 deputy regional director for operations Colonel Remus Zacharias Canieso was designated as the new regional director for administration. ( Merlinda A. Pedrosa)
