P136,000 shabu seized in Bacolod drug busts

FOUR persons were arrested in two separate drug busts in Bacolod City in the past two days, which resulted in the recovery of P136,000 worth of illegal drugs.

On April 24, Joribert Libre, 28, of Barangay 2; Mike Angelo Capanas, 18, of Barangay 1; and Rustom Fetalino, 32, of Barangay 4 were arrested at Barangay 2 after police seized from them nine sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) weighing 10 grams worth P120,000, the P500 marked money, two improvised tooters, and coin purse.

Libre is a newly-identified drug personality, police records showed. All three suspects are detained at Police Station 2.

On April 23, Jenny Vic Canlas, 25, of Barangay 2 was arrested after he allegedly sold a shabu to a police agent for P500 in a transaction held at the said village.

Police recovered from him a sachet of suspected shabu (buy-bust item) worth P16,000, the P500 marked money, an improvised tooter, pouch, and an undetermined amount of cash.

Canlas is detained at Police Station 2.
