P200,000 worth of shabu seized in Barangay Mandalagan

AN ESTIMATED P200,000 worth of “shabu” or methamphetamine hydrochloride was seized in a drug bust at Purok Kasanag, Barangay Mandalagan, Bacolod City Tuesday morning, June 18.

The operation conducted by personnel of Police Station 3 led by Police Major Ruel Culanag also led to the arrest of Kirby Andrada, 30, of Purok Paghidaet, Barangay Mansilingan.

Culanag said Andrada was caught selling shabu to a police undercover at 4 a.m.

Police recovered from Andrada’s possession four sachets of shabu weighing 16 grams, the P500 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.

Culanag said the suspect is detained at station’s facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (MAP)
