P340K in ‘shabu’ seized in San Carlos City

AN ESTIMATED P340,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a drug bust by operatives of San Carlos City Police Station at Barangay 5, of the said city at about 2:54 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

The operation also led to the arrest of Joseph Pasigay, 45, a resident of the said village.

San Carlos City Police Station records showed Pasigay was arrested after he sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer.

Police recovered from Pasigay’s possession 41 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 50 grams, the P1,000 marked money, coin purse and lighter.

The police said Pasigay, who was identified as a high value individual in San Carlos City, was also a member of Virtucio Drug Gang with Bacus and Macadatu Sub-Group.

The suspect is detained at the custodial facility of San Carlos City Police Station.

He will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
