P800,000 shabu seized from high-value targets in Bacolod

OVER P800,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Bacolod City Police Drug Enforcement Unit in Purok Kabulakan 1, Barangay Singcang-Airport on Tuesday evening, November 30, 2021.

The operation also led to the arrest of two alleged high-value individuals in Bacolod City identified as Bryle Ramos, 30, of Purok Narra Baybay at Barangay 8 and Anthony Morcilla, 33, of Barangay Singcang-Airport.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Sherlock Gabana, spokesperson of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), said the suspects were arrested after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,500 to a poseur buyer past 10 p.m.

Recovered from the suspects' possession were seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing 120 grams.

BCPO officer-in-charge Colonel Thomas Joseph Martir supervised the operation.

The suspects were detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 8.

They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
