PAO Offers Free Services to Gov't Employees

Sunnexdesk

THE Public Attorney's Office (PAO) in San Carlos City provides free services to San Carlos City Hall employees last March 21 and March 22 at the SP Session Hall.

Atty. Alphonse Lonie E. Belarmino and Atty. Mae Lailour Comoda of PAO said the activity is in line with the celebration of National Women's Month, where they provide free document notarization and legal advice.

Atty. Comoda added they are holding the activity in the city hall to reach out to the employees so as not to hamper their work.

At least 50 employees availed of free notarization of their documents, especially the Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN).

Atty. Conversely, Belarmino said their agency is open to providing services to less fortunate individuals who need assistance, especially women who experience maltreatment by their husbands.

Administrative Aide Devina Ambag of the Office for Human Resource Management was grateful because she saved money with the free notarization of her SALN.

Ma. Elaine Rosos, Budget Officer IV of the City Budget Office, was also thankful for the opportunity and hoped that it would become a yearly activity since it conveniently benefits local government employees.* (PR)
