BUSINESSMAN Ian Manuel Lo, president of the Negros Grace Pharmacy, is donating a thousand bags of rice to Bacolod Representative Greg Gasataya as a gift for his 51st birthday on Friday, November 19, 2021.

"I know this birthday gift is valuable to him as it can help his rice assistance program for the impoverished (and) it is important for him to help the poor amid the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic,” Lo said.

“I cannot think of any material gift for him because I know he will decline it if it will only benefit himself (because) his heart beats for his people and he will be happy if I give him 1,000 bags of rice, which will go a long way in helping the poor. This is voluntary on my part to share the immense grace that God is providing me,” he added.

Lo is a known friend and supporter of Gasataya.

"What we have in common is our sincere desire to help the needy, including other sectors too. Cong. Greg is receptive to the needs of his people. He is easy and accessible as a public servant," the businessman said.

He wishes Gasataya more blessings of good health, more years as congressman of Bacolod, a loving family, and restful home, adding that he will continue to help the congressman succeed in his public service.

"The more we give, the more we receive. The more we share, the more we are blessed by God," he said.
