PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde will arrive in Negros Occidental Saturday, May 19.

Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, public information officer of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), confirmed Friday that Albayalde will grace the groundbreaking of a housing project for policemen in Talisay City Sunday.

President Rodrigo Duterte is also expected to arrive for the said activity.

Vargas said they are preparing security measures for the arrival of the president.

Albayalde will meet police officials in a command conference in Bacolod City and will visit police stations to check if personnel impose discipline and attitude while rendering their duties.

Albayalde will also check if policemen in the province follow the (OCA) which means One Commendable Act a day.

It will be Albayalde's first visit to the province since he assumed office last month, replacing retired director general Ronald "Bato" De la Rosa.
