THE Bacolod City Police Station 6 is still conducting a thorough investigation to identify the assailants in the killing of a call center agent in front of Graciano Lopez Jaena Elementary School in Barangay 31 around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 23.

Major Leo Estopa, commander of Police Station 6, said Thursday, March 24, that they are eyeing two suspects in the killing of Angelo Diesto, 38, of Purok Sta. Ana, Barangay 30, Bacolod City.

He said Diesto was inside his car parked in front of Graciano Lopez Jaena Elementary School when unidentified armed suspects on board a car approached him and fired at him several times and fled.

The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot.

Police recovered from the scene of the crime four empty cartridges of .45 caliber.

The police have yet to establish the motive in the killing of the victim.

Estopa said they will check the closed circuit television (CCTV) camera in the area, as well as the cellular phone of the suspects that could help in their investigation.

He said they will coordinate with the family of the victim to determine if he had received threats before he was gunned down.
