Riding-in-tandem kills top 7 drug personality in Himamaylan

A DRUG personality who was top 7 in the drug watchlist of Himamaylan police was shot dead by motorcycle riding-in-tandem in Himalayan City on Monday, October 19, 2020.

The victim was identified as Rolyn Guttierez who was killed in Barangay 4, Himamaylan City.

He was also identified by Himamaylan police as a member of the Bugalon Drug Group operating in the city and other neighboring areas.

Based on the report of the Himamaylan City police, Guttierez was on his way to the public market with a passenger when he was shot by the riding in tandem suspects. He was fatally shot in the head.

Recovered from the crime scene were two empty shells of .45 caliber pistol.

The Himamaylan City police are still conducting a follow-up investigation and possible drug-related motive behind the killing.

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
