TWO hundred male inmates and 32 jail officers of Metro Bacolod District Jail–Special Intensive Care Area (MBDJ-Sica) in Bacolod City were tested negative for illegal drug use during the surprise drug test yesterday.

The test was initiated by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) to check if the jail is free from illegal drugs.

PDEA also conducted an inspection to 25 dormitories inside the jail during the greyhound operation.

Authorities seized several ballpens, spoons, belts, matchbox, nails, and woods among others.

No illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia were recovered from the jail during the operation. (GYM)
