Taxi driver, 2 others hurt in road crash

A TAXI driver and two others were injured in a road accident along Montelibano Street, fronting San Miguel Brewery, in Barangay Granada, Bacolod City, Tuesday afternoon, March 21.

Injured were taxi driver Sebastian Torres, 61, of San Dionesio Subdivision, Barangay Granada; Hazel Hechanova and his wife Mercedes Nina Hechanova, both residents of Purok 6, Barangay Granada.

Captain Francis Depasucat, commander of Police Station 5, said Torres lost control of his taxi and bumped into a Toyota Wigo vehicle driven by Hechanova.

He added that Torres and the couple sustained injuries. They were brought to a hospital in Bacolod City.

Depasucat said they are still conducting an investigation on the incident.*
