Teen dies of electrocution

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy died after he was electrocuted in Hacienda Conchita, Barangay Granada, Bacolod City, on Sunday afternoon, June 16.

Police identified the fatality Harold Olarte, of Barangay Granada.

Police Major Ariel Pico, spokesperson of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), said the victim along with his cousins were fishing in a river at Barangay Granada using an improvised electric fishing equipment at about 2 p.m.

He said the victim was brought to a hospital, but he did not survive.

He added that personnel of Police Station 5 are still conducting further investigation on the incident.
