ISABELA Mayor Joselito Malabor said all is set for the town’s 2nd Tigkalalag Festival from October 31 to November 2, 2018.

This year's theme is "Sustaining the Unique Culture of the Tigkalalag Festival," Malabor said.

The three-day festivities will kick off Wednesday, October 31 with the 2nd Municipal Convention that will be participated by barangay officials, municipal government workers and the Department of Education.

Malabor said that the main agenda of the convention is the resolution declaring the entire municipality of Isabela as a tourism destination.

"It is in this convention where we will decide whether or not we will pass the said resolution," Malabor said.

Activities on the November 1 will include the Search for the Tigkalag Queen, Zumba, and motocross.

Malabor said the highlight will be on November 2, which happens to be the birthday of the late Isabela mayor Renato Malabor, his elder brother and the founder of the Tigkalalag Festival.

There will the street dancing competition the concept of which was based on the Filipino tradition of celebrating the All Soul’s Day.
