Woman hurt in Bacolod shooting

A 24-YEAR-OLD woman was injured after she was shot by an unidentified assailant in Purok Lawayan Takas, Barangay Banago, Bacolod City Wednesday morning, September 30, 2020.

Police identified the victim as Kimberly Villarma of Barangay Banago.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, spokesperson of Bacolod City Police Office, said the victim was walking along Purok Lawayan Takas with her live-in partner when an unidentified man fired at her and fled.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound and was brought to the Riverside Medical Center.

Pico said Police Station 3 is still conducting further investigation to determine the motive and the identity of the suspect, who is still at large.
