Woman robbed in Bacolod

A 29-YEAR-OLD woman was robbed in Purok Kasilingan 2, Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, Tuesday evening, June 4, 2019.

Police identified the victim as Jouana Cambronero, of Barangay Mansilingan.

Police Major Ariel Pico, spokesperson of Bacolod City Police Office, said the victim was on her way home at 9:30 p.m. when unidentified man grabbed her neck and declared hold-up.

The suspect forcibly took Cambronero’s bag, containing identification cards, P1,800 cash, and cellular phone, and fled.

Pico said the victim positively identified the suspect as Ronnie Cantara alias ‘Dodong’ of JJ Gonzaga, Barangay Mansilingan, through the rouges’ gallery of Police Station 7.

The suspect was also involved in crime incidents in some areas of Bacolod City.

Police Station 7 is still conducting a follow-up operation to arrest the suspect. (MAP)
