Oil firms set price rollback on Monday

MANILA -- Consumers can expect lower fuel prices on Monday, June 9, as big oil firms in the country have set price rollback on their products.

Petron Corporation and Shell Philippines will cut prices of diesel by P1.10 per liter; kerosene by P0.70 per liter; and gasoline by P0.90 per liter.

PTT Philippines will also implement rollback on prices of gasoline by P0.90 per liter and diesel by P1.10 per liter.

Data from the Department of Energy showed that as of June 3, average price for diesel was at P43.20 per liter, while gasoline was pegged at P55.00 per liter. (Sunnex)
