Ceres FC bounces back in Copa

CERES Negros FC bounced back from consecutive defeats against Davao Aguilas FC and Stallion Laguna FC with a 2-1 triumph on Wednesday night against the latter team to remain in contention in the ongoing Copa Pauline Alcantara played at Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Blake Powell and Manny outscored in the 56th and 85th minutes in a come from behind win after trailing 1-nil at the half on Fitch Arboleda's goal in the 40th minute.

It was recalled that the Busmen suffered a 3-nil blow against the Stallion over the weekend.

The Negros-based club will next face the Aguilas on Saturday, September 22, for the last scheduled game in the eliminations.
