Sunnexdesk

CERES Negros FC striker Bienvenido Marañon will not be in the field on August 1 and the next leg for Ceres Negros FC due to his suspension against Yangon United on May 16 but so is midfielder Song Ui-young of Home United FC who is doubtful because of a hamstring injury.

Tonight's favor the Busmen, recently crowned Philippines Football League champions, but the Protectors have not failed to score in any of their AFC Cup matches this year. Add the fact that the Singaporeans won 2-0 over Ceres at Panaad in Group F this year after drawing 1-1 in February when Home hosted the Busmen, this match starting 7 p.m. will go either way.

Ceres is looking for its first win against Home this 2018 but the Singapore club is likewise looking for revenge after being denied the title last year when the Busmen took it from them through a 2-0 triumph here after the Protectors hosted and scored 2-1 in the first leg.

Coach Aidil Sharin and his wards need just to focus and forget the past and make some adjustment.

Risto Vidakovic had the same answer as their new signees have yet to be tested and their entry to the game depends on their performance.

Both coaches see the match as a new game, both hoping to win and wish all their players play hundred percent. Martin Steuble talked the positive as Ceres still has it nucleus and will cope up regardless of the pressure of the game.

Risto said they will give their best and be smart as there will be another game in Singapore. (HGD)
