DBTI posts strong performance in DFL opener

DON Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI)-Victorias booked early wins in the opening of the Dynamic Football League Second Conference Central Division at the Sta. Maria Football Field in Talisay City over the weekend.

The Bosconians ruled Bata Elementary School (ES), 4-3, in the Born 2006 category before their dominating performance against Bata ES, 21-0, and 27-0 over the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) for the Born 2008 and Born 2001 Girls category, respectively.

Bata also suffered another huge setback against Villa Angela, 12-0, in Born 2010 division before posting a 22-0 triumph over University of St. La Salle-B in the 2001 Girls category and a 2-all draw against the same delegation in the Born 2006 category.

USLS also fell to Rizal ES, 12-5, while its Team C bowed to Montevista, 16-0. The Lasallians recovered to beat St. Scholastica’s Academy, 9-2, in the girls' division and a 4-3 triumph in the Born 2008.

A Sum-ag side frustrated Kanlaon Hijos Football Club, 4-1 in the Born 2006 category and blanked Sagay, 8-0, in Born 2008 category.

Other results in Born 2006 saw SSA drawing Sta. Maria, 1-1, and Trinity Christian School dominating Alejandro Acuña Yap Quiña Memorial Elementary School–Victorias, 12-2;

UNO-R beat Rizal ES, 8-3 for Born 2008 and St. John’s Institute stunned Mabini, 8-0; Born 2001 Girls category–KHFC defeated Silay A (15-0), UNO-R defeated SSA-B (11-0) and Sagay defeated Silay-B (7-1).
