Fil-Sino holds 5th invitational caging

THE Fil-Sino Athletic Club will be staging its 5th Invitational Basketball Tournament, dubbed as Fil-Sino Athletic Club-Asia Brewery Invitational Cup 2020.

This event is made possible through the efforts of Michael P. Miranda, manager of the Bacolod Sales Office.

The tournament will be composed of 20 teams and will be classified in the Class A and Class B categories.

Joining the Class A are CHOI of Botsoy Solinap; Team Akasya of Paul Jison, Team Province of Negros Occidental led by Joeben Veloso, Team Madz managed by JR Madrigal, Team Mr. Kokio/Shakey's represented by Ramon Ortigosa, Redeemer headed by Pastor Bimbim, UNAC managed by Jetro Villeran, Yarda 8 Restobar of Kent June Gustilo, Team NOAC represented by Joel Rios, and Asia Brewery headed by Ronald Tan.

Meanwhile, teams for Class B are the 10 Fil-Sino Team Selections. Class B will play a single round-robin tournament.

At press time, games in Class B are ongoing while for Class A, the tournament will start on January 24, 2020, and games will be held at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

All teams will carry various Asia Brewery brands such as Beer na Beer, Colt 45, Brewkettle, Asahi, Tanduay Ice, Sunkist, Nestea, Vitamilk, Creamy Delight, Summit, Absolute, Heineken, Tiger Black, Tiger Crystal Light, Beer na Beer strong, Cobra Citrus, Cobra Berry Plus, Cobra original, Summit still and Sparkling and Bi Frutas.
