LA CONSOLACION College Bacolod has a lot to prove in the 2018 Negros Basketball Association President's Cup quarterfinals and its last chance to the semis is to surprise ESJ/YBAC Fyr Fyter at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Po Hang gym of Bacolod Tay Tung High School.

YBAC won 87-80 in their first meeting and the Blue Panthers remained the underdog in its most important match.

Number 4 Supreme Silvergraces is favored in the other QF match at 5:15 p.m. against number 5 Duke Jay Game Farm whom it clobbered 135-87 in their first encounter.

Sunday's semifinals will have number 1 UNO-R Red House Taiwan Shabu Shabu playing the winner between LCC and YBAC at 3:30 while number 2 Colegio de Sta. Ana Victorias-Silver Dragon takes on the survivor of Supreme-Duke knockout.

UNO-R finished 8-0 and CSAV 7-1. Both have a twice to beat advantage.
