THE five-day Congressman's Cup National Junior's Tennis Championship kicked off at the San Carlos City Tennis Center on Friday, September 30, 2022.

Categories are under 10 years old (unisex), under 12 years old (boys and girls), under 14 years old (boys and girls), under 16 years old (boys and girls), and under 18 years old (boys and girls).

Participants came from the cities Bacolod, Cadiz, La Carlota and Sagay in Negros Occidental and the Municipalities of Ayungon and Tayasan as well as Dumaguete City in Negros Oriental.

Other participants are from the cities of Cebu and Toledo and the province of Bohol

Negros Occidental First District Representative Gerardo Valmayor Jr. and San Carlos City Vice Mayor Christopher Paul Carmona welcomed the players and thanked them for supporting the cup. (PR)
