Tay Tung posts 2nd win in Rebisco Nationals Finals

BACOLOD Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts continues to be one of the top title contenders in the ongoing Rebisco Volleyball League National Championships played at the Ynares Sports Center in Pasig City.

The Thunderbolts dominated Leyte National High School: 25-19, 25-19 to book their second straight win in the tournament.

Team Captain Shane Carmona led Tay Tung veterans as they posted a wide 8 points on the process before committing several unforced errors in the latter part of the match.

Meanwhile, the Ian Macariola-mentored Bacolod squad also demolished Iligan City National High School during their first game last Saturday: 25-14 and 25-9.

Thunderbolts, who is in Pool B with Hawaii and a Malaysian team is set face University of Mindanao Tagum City on Tuesday.
