Yelo-Lee duo posts lead in tenpin charity qualifiers

THE duo of veteran bowlers Ariel Yelo and Jeff Lee enjoyed a narrow lead in the qualifying round of the Monday Bowlers Club of Bacolod Doubles Masters Tenpin Cup played at the Lopue’s East Bowling Center.

Yelo and Lee gathered 2,411 pinfalls to spearhead the Top 10 tandems by at least 21 pins followed by Raymund Livioco-Albert Solidarios duo (2,390), Larnie Vencer-Dodo Figueroa lineup (2,366), and power couple Karl & Ruby Barbosa (2,363).

Completing the Top tandems are Alyana Abelada-James Gasapo (2,350), Tracey Tan-Antonnette Garcia (2,328), Herman Santos-Rey Balaan (2,318), Rodney Bojos-Lyndon Reyes (2,249), JJ Besa-Andrea Alvizo (2,226), and Melot Alimon-Vir Arcolas (2,212).

For the Top 10 in Men’s Division are Gasapo (1,270), Vencer (1,216), Barbosa (1,211), Solidarios (1,209), Reyes (1,161), Yelo (1,150), Figueroa (1,150), Santos (1,143), and Tony Hinolan (1,131).

Meanwhile, for the distaff are Garcia (1,202), Alvizo (1,167), R. Barbosa (1,152), Tan (1,126), Leerha Jamandre (1,120), Abelada (1,080), and Lily Aloba (1,069).

This tenpin event, themed as “Never Be One, Because We Are One”, aims to raise funds to provide financial support to the members of the club in reducing the cost of Dialysis and Chemotherapy. (SunStar Bacolod)
