Study: Most online royal wedding news from US

Sunnexdesk

LONDON — A study says American online media outlets have generated more coverage of Prince William and Kate Middleton's upcoming wedding than their British counterparts.

The Nielsen Company says that the United States has had the highest share of news coverage by traditional online news sources of the wedding when compared with corresponding coverage in the U.K. and Australia.

Those "traditional news sources" online refer to news sites that are online only, and web versions of print or broadcast outlets, industry publications, and wire services.

The company said Tuesday the study analyzed online media content from Nov. 1 to Apr. 3. (AP)
