MANILA -- Angeleo Felipe, a teacher facilitating Monday's polls at Commonwealth Elementary School in Quezon City, encountered several problems in the poll process.

Felipe said the voting process is being delayed due to unclear printing of names of voters' list provided by the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

“Ang labo ng pagkaprint, ang hirap basahin,” he said.

He noted that they cannot complain to the Comelec anymore since the voting already started.

As a remedy, Felipe required voters to present identification cards for verification purposes.

For those who have no IDs, he said they have no choice but to ask several questions to the voters that will match their identification.

Felipe also complained of lack of list of candidates, which burden the voters in choosing their preferred bets.

Teachers instead were compelled to write the names of the candidates on the blackboard. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
