Villanueva: #CreativeBaguio

Karu Villanueva

FAB Inc., the whole Baguio Fashion Community, is indeed so thankful and looks forward to events such as this, the Japanese Friendship Week, where local talents are showcased through fashion.

It has been overwhelming as there were 14 designers from Baguio and Manila, and 15 modeling groups/groups to include the Abong and Osharé who participated in the show. Heartwarming songs and a cordial spirit embraced the crowd in camaraderie.

Special thanks to Mr. Arnel Cabanisas and Atty. Allyson Locano (FJFNLI) and Mr. Anthony de Leon (BCC) for making this possible. Thank you Mr. Ric Maniquis, Mr. Mark Perez and Team DC Manila (Jet Custodio) for your invaluable time for the photo-shoot; Cesz Calaguas, Ceejay Rouge, Jan Ven Budod, Angel Villanueva, Ms. Melo Mejia and Sir Ricky Marcelo for your expertise and coordination; and the performing artists Marjorie Ann Javellana, Ara Agadan and Jecel Caguimbal.

The Filipino-Japanese Fashion Mob Event Credits held July 28 at the Baguio Country Club. Partner organizations: Filipino-Japanese Foundation of Northern Luzon, Inc., Baguio Country Club, Abong, Filipino-Japanese Friendship Association of Northern Luzon, Inc., City Gov. of Baguio, Japanese Association of Northern Luzon, Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, FAB Inc.
