3 laborers buried in landslide

THREE male laborers were buried alive in a landslide in San Luis Village, Baguio City in the afternoon of October 20.

Initial investigation revealed that six laborers were digging out soil at the base of a riprap that they were working on at No. 15 Purok 1 Shangri-La Village, San Luis Barangay, when the ground above them collapsed.

Three of the workers were immediately pulled out by their co-workers.

A second wave of cascading soil buried three other workers namely, Lemuel Malate, John Ray Daus and a certain Jeff, all natives of Pangasinan.
