BENGUET. Several road networks in the province of Apayao are still closed due to the landslide incidents caused by the massive rains brought by Typhoon Quiel last week. The landslide incidents in the province hamper the relief and response operations by the provincial government and the DSWD due to isolation of the areas particularly in the upper towns of Apayao. The Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Council led by Chairman Albert Mogol and Apayao Governor Eleanor Bulut – Begtang conducted an aerial inspection to assess damages in the province on Wednesday.
