Cordillera police nab 5 persons

THREE wanted individuals and two gun holders were collared following operations by the different units of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Cordillera.

Elpidio Rosimo Cañero, 37, was arrested by the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO)-Aurora Hill Police Station (PS6) after a resident complained the suspect for entering their house.

Confiscated from the suspect were one caliber .45 pistol, a magazine loaded with five ammunition, and an extra magazine with four ammunition.

In Abra Province, the Abra Provincial Police Office (Appo) collared Bernard Bandolin Lozano, 20, in a checkpoint at Sinalang Bridge in Bangued town.

Lozano, together with a passenger who was riding a tricycle with no plate number, was stopped at the checkpoint, leading to the discovery of a homemade shotgun without serial number shells for a gauge 12 shotgun.

Meanwhile, three wanted personalities in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) were also arrested.

In Ifugao, Del Prado Bueno Pascua, 49, was arrested by the operatives of Alfonso Lista Municipal Police Station in Ramon, Isabela by virtue of a warrant of arrest for attempted robbery.

Pascua has been listed as the number 8 top most wanted person (TMWP) in the provincial level.

Two wanted persons were also arrested in Baguio City by the operatives of Camdas Police Station (PS2) in two separate police

Fifty-two-year-old "Janet" and Javier Arkias, 50, were arrested by virtue of the warrant of arrest for estafa.
