A FUND drive was launched by Filipino families from Besao, Mountain Province but are based in United Kingdom in their quest for justice for the murder of three Besao villagers.

Dukaw Cadiogan, through a social media post, initiated a fund drive on June 5 to help find justice for the recent murder of Ronnie Macayba, Jansen Gabaen and Pedro Sauyen, who were found lifeless in a forest locally known as "Pagpag."

Last May, the three left the village of Agawa for fishing and a week after, they were found dead with gunshot and hack wounds in their bodies. A sack of eels was found nearby.

"The Besao people are crying for justice and we are sure you will join us in condemning this evil deed and be one with is in pursuit of due process. We need your prayers and we solicit financial support. The leaders in Agawa and Besao as a whole have taken it upon themselves to pursue the case," said Cadiogan.

The online fundraising drive has been suggested in the iBesao-UK Facebook group.

The fundraising ends on August 20.
