THE Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO-COR) launched its infotext platform designed to inform all personnel of their claims, especially collateral allowances and other claims paid through List of Due and Demandable Accounts Payable-Advice to Debit (LDDAP-ADA) which is not reflective in their pay slips.

Dubbed as “Text Dungdungenka” translated as “We Care for you”, the project seeks to improve the services of the Regional Finance Service Office (RSFO) 15 by making it accessible to all PRO-COR personnel, establish a system where its personnel personally receives updates of their claims and benefits through SMS (short message sending), and to make sure that its personnel feels the care of the RFSO-15 through infotext.

In its launching at Camp Bado Dangwa, Police Colonel Antonio De Jesus, Chief of RFSO-15 explained the platform would give importance to vital information pertaining to the collateral allowances and claims due to PRO-COR personnel via text message sent personally to their cellular account numbers.

“Basically and objectively, this platform is for the claims that we will be sending through this platform. We have another account on Facebook which is RFSO-15 Cordillera wherein all other information can be seen including queries,” De Jesus said.

RFSO-15 have coordinated with the Finance Police Non Commissioned Offices from the Provincial, City, Regional Mobile Force and PROCOR for the submission of all of the cellular phone numbers of its personnel in its respective units.

“In this platform, we are protecting the integrity because all information here will be factual because these are financial claims not found on their pay slips,” De Jesus stated.

RFSO-15’s administrator have established its database of all of PROCOR’s personnel containing their names and respective cellphone numbers.

“The aim here is regardless of where our personnel are, we will lessen the time, effort and risk for our personnel in inquiring on their financial claims through Automated Teller Machines. Once they receive the text message regarding financial claims, they are assured that these have been forwarded to their respective ATM accounts,”De Jesus added.

PROCOR is the third regional command of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to launch the infotext platform which in special cases, may also be used as an information gateway from the command to its troops in the field.
