P2-M weed seized in Benguet, minors nabbed for illegal drugs

TWO high-value target drug pushers were collared in Bangued, Abra recently by police while P2,296,000 worth of marijuana plants were eradicated during a two day operation in the three barangays of Tacadang in the municipality Kibungan, Benguet.

Danilo Galvez, 60, listed as top 10 high value target was arrested in Bangued according to Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PRO-COR) director Israel Ephraim Dickson.

Confiscated from Galvez are two sachets of suspected shabu, buy-bust money and a cellphone.

Another high-value target known as Reymond Bayle, together with a female companion and Christian JC Dungca were caught by virtue of search warrant at Sinapangan, Zone 6, Bangued.

Confiscated from their possession were nine pieces of suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia.

In another drug bust, Rommel Palitugen Dino aka Lungad, 27, was also nabbed at Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet while Ario Calpito Banayos was arrested in Barangay Ubbog-Lipcan, Bangued.

Recovered from Dino were two sachets of suspected shabu, buy-bust money, and a cellular phone while confiscated from Banayos possession are buy bust money and drug paraphernalia.

Minors, ages 15 and 16 in Tabuk City, Kalinga were taken into custody by the police after authorities seized from their possession one plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, drug bust money and a motorcycle without plate number.

Meanwhile, a total of P2,296,000 worth of marijuana plants were eradicated during a two day operation in the three Barangays of Tacadang in the municipality Kibungan.

The 11,482 marijuana plants were discovered and uprooted in nine separate plantation sites.

Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit.
