ACT-CIS Partylist Representative and Benguet caretaker Eric Go Yap vows for more financial assistance for Benguet farmers.

On his official page, the lawmaker pledged P25 million financial aid for Benguet farmers, which will be released this year.

Yap said they are coordinating with the Department of Agriculture, local chief executives and farmer organizations to determine the farmers who will benefit from the assistance.

The solon added they are currently preparing for the budget briefing and plans to seek other agencies that can assist to the province.

Yap earlier committed to the construction of a 31-kilometer Farm-To-Market road for the province in 2021.
