Robbers cart P115,000 in afternoon heist

THIEVES had a field day in the afternoon of October 25 after running away with P115,000 in cash and other valuables.

The Baguio City Police Office reported that the robbery happened at the residence of Sarah Agwikeng Bagsingit, 36, a businesswoman, in Bakakeng Central, Baguio City.

Investigation showed the robbers, who remained unidentified, scaled the metal gate of the house to enter the compound and opened the window of the house's comfort room as point of entry.

The robbers then proceeded to the second floor of the house and went to the master's bedroom, took a Play Station worth P33,000, two watches amounting to P21,000, and a leather wallet containing 4,400 Ringgit, which is equivalent to P60,000.

Investigation revealed that the robbers used the sala window to get out of the house.

Responding personnel were able to lift and developed two latent prints at the crime scene for fingerprint examination and possible identification of the robbers.
