FILINVEST Land is expanding its maiden project in Cagayan de Oro City, the One Oasis, as it recently launched its third building for condo development.

The construction of the third building is set to start mid of this year.

One Oasis Cagayan de Oro is an urban oasis that takes the form of an Asian-Balinese inspired master-planned community of mid-rise residential buildings. It is a project from the developer's lifestyle brand Aspire by Filinvest.

One Oasis Cagayan de Oro is set within a sprawling 2.7-hectare property at the heart of downtown Cagayan de Oro City.

"We are excited to add a new structure to Filinvest Land's landmark development in Cagayan de Oro. Our third building in One Oasis Cagayan de Oro will give more Kagay-anons the opportunity to own their dream home within a green and sustainable community," Tristan Las Marias, executive vice president and chief strategy officer of Filinvest Land Inc., said.

"As we complete the community, we also hope that Filinvest Land's P1 billion estimated additional investment in Cagayan de Oro will contribute to the economic progress of the city," he added.

One Oasis Cagayan de Oro is located at Rosario Limketkai Avenue. Its condo units are flexible living spaces primed for fiber-internet, wifi, and telco services ideal for work-from-home and remote-learning set-ups.

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
