Collado said this is part of the government's assistance to the National Irrigation Authority.

“Aside from CMU, we also awarded four solar-powered irrigation system in different areas of Bukidnon, and another two in Lanao del Norte,” he said.

“This is made of metal pipes and valve, so this will be easy to build,” Collado added.

The project started on January 26 this year, and is almost complete now.

Last month, the DA also launched the Impasug-ong, Talakag, Sumilao, and Lantapan (Imtasula) vegetable complex in an aim to expand potential areas for high value vegetables in Bukidnon.

Four unit tractors, draft animals, release of P20 million easy access credit were also turned over by the agriculture department to the local government unit of Talakag, Bukidnon last month.
