The price of vanity -- L’Oreal Look and Learn

Sunnexdesk

IN THE big capital city, posh stylish ladies of Manila willingly pay P10,000 for a haircut and P15,000 for a coloring job in one of the country’s most exclusive salons located in BGC called the JuRo Salon Exclusif.

The Man and Woman behind this salon are no other than Master Precision Cutter and Master Colorist, Mr. Jude Hipolito and Ms. Rose Velasco, respectively.

They have both handled many stars and models through the years.

On top of that, they are credited for training many celebrity stylists, who are still active in the industry to this day. They both explained that the experience they offer is akin to a designer brand. It comes at such a steep price because they know what they are worth. They have both, after all, spent more than two decades in the industry.

It may sound snobbish, but it really is not considering the quality of the products that they use and the amount of effort they have invested on the whole salon experience, including their training and education.

JuRo explained that they attract a niche clientele of women, who have reached the epitome of success and who understand the value of investing on one’s self. After all, if you look good, you also feel good.

And now, they have set their sights on Cagayan De Oro. JuRo Salon Exclusif, together with L’Oreal Professional Philippines and N&B Beauty Product Distributorship Corp., invites everyone to an exclusive event, the “L’Oreal Look and Learn”, which features extensive workshops and seminars for hair dressers and stylists throughout the region. The event is going to be conducted by L’Oreal Professional Brand Ambassadors, the JuRo Team, who is considered the Power Duo of the Philippine Salon Industry. Come and be updated on the latest industry trends at the Platinum Ballroom of the Mallberry Suites Hotel, slate on June 26, Wednesday, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The JuRo salon branding is actually a combination of the first two syllables of their first names. They hope to inspire the event participants into learning and adopting world-class practices on hair dressing, coloring, and styling techniques. The couple always emphasizes on the importance of investing on education and skills upgrade, so that industry practitioners will not just be updated on the latest industry trends; but more importantly, they can increase their marketability and integrity.

Rose started as an educator in a top coloring brand, and then she became the number one Master Colorist for L’Oreal nationwide. She has many years of experience tucked under her belt. On the other hand, Jude is a graduate of the Vidal Sassoon Academy, which is akin to the Harvard of beauty schools because of their intensive training programs. Upon returning home from his studies at Los Angeles, California in 2001, that’s when he decided to set-up his first Salon in Boracay. In this pristine white island, he met Rose, and the rest is history. Oh, and let’s not forget to mention that this dynamic duo is also husband and wife.

If you want to learn from this power couple, call Jigger 0927-459-1794 or Sherwin 0917-405-7083 for details. Only a minimum consumable purchase is required to get an exclusive seat inside the Platinum Ballroom. Invest in yourself because knowledge is something that no one can take away from you.
