189 new Covid cases in Cagayan de Oro

THE City Health Office reported on Wednesday, January 26, 189 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) that brought Cagayan de Oro's total caseload to 22,490.

According to the City Health Office, of the 189 new cases, one was a locally stranded individual (LSI), two were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs), and 186 were local transmissions.

Among the 186 new local cases, 128 were local index cases, 25 were local cases with link, 22 were authorized persons outside residence (Apors), eight Apors with link, and one person deprived of liberty (PDL).

Cagayan de Oro also recorded two mortalities.

The city health noted a rise in the number of active cases in the city.

Cagayan de Oro logged 1,711 active cases.

Of the figure, 364 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 1,290 were outpatients and 57 ROFs/LSIs.

The total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro is now at 19,910.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 869.
