2 drug suspects killed in shootout with police in Bukidnon

POLICE anti-narcotics operatives have killed two drug suspects in a shootout in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, Thursday night, May 10.

Slain suspects were identified as Tony Havana and Rene Duangan, both residents of Barangay Canangaan, Cabanglasan town.

According to the initial investigation, the shootout ensued after one of the suspects allegedly drew his revolver after noticing that he was transacting with an undercover police officer.

Authorities seized four sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (locally known as shabu), a hand grenade, mobile phones, drug paraphernalia, and P30,000 cash from the suspects.
